Rob Burton, of Kent-based Highsted Heating was asked by the builder of a brand new residential development in Boughton to recommend and install a suitable heating system that would fulfil the environmental credentials required for planning permission.
Given the roof space available on each of the four houses, Rob equipped each property with a Greenskies FKC solar thermal collector, a 210l Greenstore twin coil unvented cylinder and a Greenstar CDi system boiler. Each flat, was fitted with a Greenstar 25Si gas-fired combi boiler plus a plug-in module to minimise NOx levels. The two different but effective solutions comfortably fulfilled his customer’s environmental requirements.
