1. Cover the cracks
Lower your bills by up to £45* a year by draught-proofing. One of the quickest and most cost-effective ways of stopping heat escaping is to reduce heat loss from gaps, holes, or cracks, from gaps in the windows and doors through to open chimneys, and even floorboards.

2. Shower smart
You may love a long soak, but showers use less water than baths, so pick the energy saving option and take a shower. Plus, by keeping your shower to 4 minutes, an average household can save up to £70* a year.

3. Reduce your flow temperature
If you have a combi boiler and you're looking to reduce your energy consumption, one of the things you can do is reduce the flow temperature from the boiler to your radiators.
4. Turn down the dial
Do you battle over the thermostat? Time to give in! Turning your heating down by 1°C can save you around £105 a year on your bills.

6. Get smart
Take control of your home heating and save on your bills. By using a full set of heating controls, including programmer, room thermostat, and thermostatic radiator valves you can save up to £130* a year.

7. Upgrade to save
