When staff at Mecco, a leading event caterer based in Banbury, had seen their inefficient water heating system fail, they turned to local heating specialists Town & Country Plumbing & Heating Ltd.

Mecco, which was recently acquired by Jamie Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts, was failing to benefit from any degree of energy efficiency as its storage-based system was restricted to heating 300 litres of water at a time. Having realised the energy this system was wasting, Town & Country’s Doug Hawkins was quick to suggest a cascade of three 50kW Greenspring Cwi47 water heaters to provide hot water on demand.
